The Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation initiatives, endeavors, programs, and incentives revolve around the human capital that’s within our community.

These investments include small business development, retail development, entrepreneurship, and job creation projects that define the economic development role we plan to serve in order to make our community more competitive. The Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation (BCIC) Board of Directors meet the last Thursday of every month at 12:00 P.M. at the Young House on 500 East Saint Charles Street, Brownsville, Texas.   

Board members are required to fill out a Personal Financial Statement as per Chapter 38-Code of Ethics
