BROWNSVILLE, Texas (August 1, 2017) – Effective August 1, 2017, Spectrum TV™ subscribers in Brownsville will need to tune in to Digital Channel 95.12 to view local government access programming.

Spectrum TV™ has moved Brownsville.TV from Digital Channel 17.12 to 95.12 to accommodate service upgrades. Subscribers affected by the change may access Brownsville.TV programming by scanning for Digital Channel 95.12 using their television remote menu or settings.

Brownsville.TV is the City of Brownsville’s local government television channel. Available on Spectrum TV™ Digital Channel 95.12 and online, Brownsville.TV reaches up to 77,376 daily viewers featuring local programming that serves to inform, educate and inspire Brownsville residents. Among Brownsville.TV’s featured programs are: Brownsville City Commission meetings; Brownsville Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) meetings; “Ask the Chief,” with Brownsville Police Chief Orlando Rodriguez; “The Wrap,” showcasing short clips of City of Brownsville happenings each week; and “Pet of the Week,” presenting one featured pet for adoption from the Brownsville Animal Regulation & Care Center.
