WHAT:            

The City of Brownsville, in partnership with the Housing Authority of the City of Brownsville (HACB) and the University of Texas School of Public Health, Brownsville Regional Campus (UTSPH), will host the CycloBia Nights and Lights Press Conference and an Arbor Day Celebration at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Edelstein Park, 1155 E. Polk Street in Brownsville.

The CycloBia Nights and Lights Press Conference will feature presentations by the City of Brownsville, HACB and UTSPH. CycloBia Brownsville creates a car-free street environment to encourage citizens and visitors to adopt cycling, walking and other environmentally-friendly and active forms of transportation.

The Arbor Day Celebration will feature a proclamation, tree planting and a performance by the Buena Vida Choice Neighborhood Paper Orchestra.
