About this Park

Antonio Gonzalez Park is home to the Heritage Center and Urban Center and various flocks of wild green parrots and ground squirrels.  

The trees are as tall as they are vast.

Gonzalez Park, otherwise known as G park is a gem.  Located in one of the city's most vibrant spans 24.6 acres of fun.  There is always something going on at this park.  

Soccer matches, varied league games, community events, after school programs for the kids, and zumba classes for general public.

Gonzalez Park is walking distance from Cromack Elementary, Castaneda Elementary, Faulk Middle school, HEB, Southmost Trail, and the Border Fence.

This community park is organized around a recreation center incorporating a graffiti art wall.  The graffiti celebrates aspects of the Brownsville community, creating a rich and vibrant park icon.
